Rise To Addiction's second album: "Some Other Truth" is a collection of the finest modern classic heavy Rock by a young band that has the knowledge and understanding of the history of the genre.
Originally the brainchild of guitarists Steve Wray and John Slater, former members of Blaze, the ex Iron Maiden vocalist Blaze Bailey's band, the bands highly acclaimed 2007 debut album "A New Shade Of Black For The Soul", was produced by Andy Sneap (Machine Head, Killswitch Engage, Trivium, Opeth and Megadeth).
Next to Wray and Slater, the line-up features Leigh Oates: vocals, Joel Graham: bass and Aynsley Dickinson on drums.
"Some Other Truth" combines anthem-like elements with melodic eccentricities, resulting in an antidote to the soulless and mundane music that litters the Heavy Rock scene these days. |
